Post Game Trunk Meals:
  • Recovery is very important in the HS schedule because there are so many games with little time for proper recovery. They say there is a 15 min window after a game to get some carbohydrates and protein in your body and a 2 hour period to get good meal helping to cut recovery time from 48 hours to 24 hours.
Ideal: Chocolate Milk or Gatorade, meat sandwich (wheat is better), piece of fruit, carrots, a cookie.
